AN ICONIC VENUE IN STRIJP-S, EINDHOVEN
Eindhoven is a thriving hub for expats living and working in the Netherlands. The influence of Philips on the city was so powerful that Eindhoven has come to be known as the City of Light and the Netherlands’ technology capital.
Located in Strijp-S, the Klokgebouw was completed in 1928 and originally served as a factory to produce philite for Philips. Now the cultural and creative hub of Eindhoven, the Klokgebouw building is an impressive 30,000m2 and welcomes over one hundred events, concerts and festivals a year.
During the IamExpat Fair, the impressive and industrial halls of the Klokgebouw are transformed into rows of exhibitor stands, workshop venues, lounge areas, food stands and a play space for kids.
